The Direct Path to Self Love

Cultivating Foundational Safety

What this course is:

A 6-week immersion into safety, connection, and radical acceptance

“We are not here to fix ourselves. We are here to meet ourselves.”

We created this course because we needed it.

Because we, too, are learning how to love ourselves in the places where we feel least lovable.

Because we know the courage it takes to bring our full, messy, beautiful humanity into connection.

And because too often, “Self Love” is offered as a slogan—when actually its one of the deepest journeys possible to undertake as a human being.

This is a space to meet ourselves and one another exactly as we are.

Safety and Self Love

Self Love is the simple, but radical act of accepting our experience, just as it is. For most of us, being in connection with another human being is when we struggle most to allow, accept, and bring ourselves.

When we struggle to bring ourselves fully in connection, it's not because there's something wrong with us, but because something inside us doesn’t feel safe.

Safe to be seen.

Safe to want.

Safe to take up space.

Safe to say no.

Safe to love—and be loved.

In this course, we explore what it means to become intimate with our unsafety. Not as something to push through or fix—but as something intelligent, something to listen to and understand. Our patterns of protection are not problems; they are attempts at care.

Cultivating foundational safety is not about controlling our experience. It’s about learning to trust that we can meet what arises in us. That we can reach for support, regulate ourselves, feel our needs, and respond to life with increasing capacity.

This is the ground of Self Love.

What you can expect in this course:

🌀 Meeting Unsafety with Love

Learning how unsafety often shows up as intelligence—as protection, care, and longing. Making space for our fears of being seen, being rejected, losing connection.

🌿 Nervous System Intimacy

Tracking our nervous system states with gentleness. Noticing when we’re ungrounded, overwhelmed, or dissociating—and how to reconnect to ourselves in that.

🏠 Coming Home to Self

Navigating our level of connection to ourselves—noticing when we’re identified with parts, even in subtle ways, and developing moves to come back to Self.

💬 Bringing our Needs for Safety in Connection

Become aware of what my needs are to be able to bring my full self into connection. What do I really need from the other in order to feel safe to bring myself?

Maps to Support us in our Explorations

Between the sessions, we’ll share maps, frameworks, and tools to support us in developing more intimacy with our unsafety. Some of these might include Transformational Connection, IFS, Breathwork, NVC, etc. These are not pre-conceived lalalalalalalla

🕸 Grounding in the Mystery

Creating foundational safety through cultivating openness to be with what’s arising within us in each moment.

🤲 Creating Safety in Real-Time

Cultivating the awareness to recognise “I don’t feel safe right now” and our agency around that. Become empowered to create the safety we need in any moment.

👥 You Don’t Have To Do It Alone

Being held in a space where your experience matters, exactly as it is, and sharing the path with facilitators and a community who are walking this work alongside you.

Logistics

This course will take place over 7 weeks. There will be practices in the sessions, pair practices, group practices, Surrendered Leadership. There will be exercises and practices between the sessions, frames, ways of navigating safety. And we’ll really be in it with you for these 7 weeks. We’re going to be experimenting, we’re going to be really making our best effort to meet what’s present in the group. We want this to be the most real and valuable experience for you. If there’s part of you’re struggling to bring into connection: self hate, shame, despair, struggling, confusion, and so on, we want all of that. We want to meet what’s here between us, in connection. Explore together, and be seen in all of our humanity.
